🇩🇪 Fluffy German Pancakes

A delicious, puffy oven-baked pancake with crisp edges and a custardy center. Simple ingredients, big wow factor!



Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 cup flour

  • Dash of salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 4 Tbsp butter



Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. As the oven heats, place the butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish and set the dish in the oven to melt the butter.

  2. Blend the batter: In a blender, combine eggs, milk, flour, salt, and vanilla. Blend until smooth.

  3. Bake: Carefully remove the hot pan with melted butter from the oven. Immediately pour the batter into the pan. Return to the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffy.

  4. Serve: Remove from the oven and serve warm. Sprinkle generously with powdered sugar and drizzle with syrup or fresh lemon juice for a classic touch.
