White Icing (GF)
Ingredients:
½ cup powdered sugar
½ tbsp unsalted butter, melted
¼ tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp milk (dairy or non-dairy)
Directions:
1. Combine Ingredients In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
2. Adjust Consistency If the icing is too thick, add a few drops of milk at a time. If it’s too thin, whisk in a bit more powdered sugar.
3. Use or Store Spread immediately over cooled baked goods, or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to one week.
Pro Tip:Add a dash of almond extract or a sprinkle of lemon zest for a custom flavor. This icing works beautifully on cookies, pastries, and sweet breads.
