Sweet & Smokey Dry Rub

Dry Rub (GF)

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup smoked honey sea salt (or coarse sea salt) *sub in 1/4 tsp liquid smoke

  • ¼ cup garlic powder

  • ¼ cup onion powder

  • 1 tbsp. ground cumin

  • 1 tbsp. dried oregano

  • 3 cups light brown sugar

  • 1 cup finely ground coffee (dehydrated grounds)

  • 1 tbsp. baking powder


Directions:

1. Mix the Dry Ingredients In a large bowl, combine the smoked honey sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, oregano, brown sugar, coffee, and baking powder.

2. Blend Evenly Use a whisk or your hands to break up any clumps and ensure an even mixture.

3. Store Transfer to an airtight container or jar. Store in a cool, dry place for up to six months.


Pro Tip: Use generously on beef, pork, or chicken before grilling or smoking. For extra flavor, let your meat rest with the rub for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
